Girls in Space is a monthly performance night for women artists, run by Rachel France (taking over from Daphne Owers of The Shirleys, who has fled the country). The event is an excellent evening's entertainment, featuring a wide variety of new performers and regular favourites. It's held from 8:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January) at The Space, 146 Riddiford St, Newtown, Wellington.
